Character
Heath is a passionate environmental activist with a fiery temper, working on anger management while fighting for the planet.
Heath is a fun-loving fire elemental. He is very passionate and feels his emotions very strongly. Particularly, he is very easy to anger, which is exacerbated by seeing many problems in the world to be angry about. However, he is always working on his anger issues and practices techniques to keep himself calm. Despite his temper, he is a friendly and good-hearted monster who wants to do the right thing.
He is an environmental activist who works to raise awareness of and combat damage being done to the world, such as the destruction of coral reefs and global warming.
Heath is a slim, flame-orange-skinned teenage fire elemental with pointy ears, dark orange eyebrows and amber eyes. His head is constantly lit aflame, thus resembling hair. However, when the fire gets blown or put out by water, he is mostly bald.
His attire consists of a two-piece, two-toned blue hoodie sweatshirt and shorts with white-outlined flames arising, alongside a pair of three-toned orange and off-white sneakers with yellow shoelaces, a small skull on each of the top, and flames attached at sides.
Like all fire elementals, Heath has pyrokinesis.
- Pyrokinesis: He can generate fire from his own hands. When he burns something, his eyes tend to glow.
Relationships
Heath has a strained but improving relationship with his father Hades Burns and is dating Abbey Bominable.
Heath has a grandmother he calls "Gammy", whom he devotedly watches the soap opera Days of our Undead Lives with. He also has a grandfather that he calls “Grandfire”, and another grandfather, named “Cronus”, who ate his father when he was born.
Heath's father is Hades, who was responsible for and contributed to many evils in the world (including pimples, 24-hour news channels, and, most notably, global warming). Heath is an environmental activist who is trying to raise awareness about and combat the environmental damage that his father carelessly caused, which has created a significant rift between them.
However, after Hades spoke to Tundra Bominable about how to handle his relationship with his son, Hades apologized to Heath and promised to try to be a better person and father (even asking his assistant to make a therapy appointment for him). He also agreed to be more environmentally conscious, which Heath states is a great start. While their relationship will take time and work to heal, they are both ready to put in the effort.
However, their relationship becomes strained again during the Monster Fest, with Hades, once again, acting selfish, greedy and dismissive of his son, infuriating Heath. Heath also later suspects his dad to be involved with the disappearance of his friends, only to later realize that his dad was actually tricked by his new business partner, Trick. In an attempt to save everyone, and to stop Trick for good, Hades literally dissolves Underworld Inc., making it, and everything it made, no longer exist. Heath tells his dad that he’s proud of him for what he did, and Hades tells his son that he is honored to be his father.
